Purpose of the processing
The legal basis for the processing is the business relationship created by the sale of web services, in relation to Article 6(b) and (c) of the GDPR.
The data will be processed for:
execute the activation and maintenance of the subscribed service;
perform the obligations provided for by laws or regulations
protect the rights of STC International S.r.l. in legal proceedings;
send informative material of a technical, administrative or commercial nature;
monitor physical access to data centres by means of video surveillance and access logs.
In relation to the aforementioned purposes, no particularly sensitive data (e.g. health data) relating to the data subject (expressly indicated as "special" data in the GDPR) will be processed.
 
Processing methods
The data will be processed mainly by electronic and computerised means and stored both on computer media and on any other suitable medium, in compliance with the security measures provided for in our internal regulations and may involve all the operations provided for in Article 4(2) of the GDPR.
 
Compulsory nature
The data required for the activation and provision of the purchased service are mandatory. All other data such as e.g. email address for the receipt of informative or commercial material are not mandatory.
 
Consequences of refusal to provide data
If one or more of the mandatory data are not provided, it will not be possible to use the requested service.
 
Subjects to whom personal data may be communicated
The personal data relating to the processing in question may be communicated to subjects whose right to access personal data is recognised by law or secondary and/or EU regulations. 
 
Geographical scope of processing
Personal data will always be processed within the European Community.
 
Storage
Personal data processed exclusively for administrative/accounting purposes are retained for a period not exceeding the period stipulated by current tax legislation for document retention (10 years). Even a request for deletion cannot override this type of retention.
Personal data processed for newsletter/marketing purposes are retained until cancellation is requested.
 
The personal data required for the provision of the service are stored until the time of the cancellation request.
All personal data is saved in backup copies for up to thirty days.
 
Profiling
In compliance with the guidelines of the GDPR and freedom of choice, your data will not be subjected to an exclusively automated decision-making process, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or which may affect you in a significantly similar way.
 
Rights of the data subject
In relation to the processing of your personal data, pursuant to art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/03 and art.14 and subsequent articles 14 and following of the GDPR, you can protect your rights in relation to STC International S.r.l.; in particular, you have the right to know, at any time, what data is held by the individual data controllers, i.e. STC International S.r.l. or by the subjects indicated above to whom we must communicate it, and how it is used; you also have the right to have it updated, supplemented, corrected or deleted, to request that it be blocked and to oppose its processing. In order to exercise your rights, as well as for more detailed information on the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the data are communicated or who become aware of them in their capacity as data processors or persons in charge of the processing, you may contact the data controller or one of its managers, identified at the beginning of the information sheet.
